Short answers to the questions that most often come up before ordering CNC machining.

What files do you accept for a quote?
We accept 3D files: STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs) and 2D drawings: DWG, DXF, PDF. We can also quote from a sketch or a description of technical requirements.
Do you make prototypes and short runs?
Yes — we specialise in prototypes and runs from a single piece. We handle both one-off parts and regular series orders for industry.
How long does an order take?
We prepare a quote within 48 hours of receiving the documentation. Prototype lead time is usually up to 14 business days; series are agreed individually.
What tolerances do you guarantee?
As standard we make parts to the general tolerance class ISO 2768-1. For demanding jobs we apply accuracy classes per ISO 286-IT6 — contact us to agree the details.
What materials do you machine?
We machine structural and tool steel (C45, 42CrMo4), stainless and acid-resistant steels (AISI 304, 316L), aluminium and Al alloys (EN AW-2017, 6082, 7075), brass, copper, titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) and engineering plastics (POM-C, PEEK, PA6, PTFE).
Do you supply the material?
Yes — we can supply material from our list of suppliers or machine material provided by the customer.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes — at the customer's request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before quoting. Customer technical documentation is treated as strictly confidential.
Do you provide measurement reports?
At the customer's request we provide basic measurement reports and material certificates (3.1). The scope of documentation is agreed individually for each order.
